With KultaPaketti®, you can send your items to us safely and easily by mail. We have received over 150,000 KultaPaketti® shipments from our customers, and not a single one has been lost along the way.
Order KultaPaketti®
You will receive a security bag and clear instructions by mail. KultaPaketti® is a prepaid return envelope — we cover all postage costs. Orders placed before 2:00 PM are shipped the same day.
After ordering KultaPaketti®, you will receive a confirmation by text message along with login details for your customer account.

Take KultaPaketti® to the Post Office
Once you receive your KultaPaketti®, place your valuables in the security bag and fill in your customer details. Take the envelope to a Posti service point. All postage costs are prepaid, and the shipment is insured for up to €5,000.

We check hallmarks and metal purity marks, and when necessary, measure precious metal content using X-ray analysis. This method allows us to evaluate your items without causing any damage.

We transfer the payment to your bank account on the same day we receive your KultaPaketti®. You will receive a text message confirming the amount paid, and you can also view this information in your customer account.
All items are photographed on the scale, and the images are available both in your customer account and on your receipt.

3-Day Cancellation Protection
If you are not satisfied with the offer, you can cancel the transaction within three (3) days of the evaluation. If you choose to cancel, we will return your items in the same condition as we received them.
We also cover the return shipping costs. This means you risk nothing by sending your jewelry to us for evaluation.
You Can Always Cancel — Free of Charge
You are never obligated to accept our offer. If you are not satisfied with the price, you may cancel the transaction within three (3) days of receiving the offer.

Yes. Ordering KultaPaketti® and sending your gold items using the service is always completely free. We also do not charge for returning items to you if you decide not to proceed with the sale.
KultaPaketti® is shipped to you on the same day you place your order or, at the latest, on the next business day after we receive your order.
No. KultaPaketti® can only be ordered to addresses within Finland. Payment is always made to a Finnish bank account held in the name of the person selling the items — we are unable to transfer payment to a partner’s, friend’s, or family member’s account.
You can send gold, silver, and other precious metal jewelry and valuables. These include, for example, chains, earrings, rings, pendants, diamond jewelry, broken jewelry, coins, dental gold, and silverware.
We also buy design jewelry for resale (such as Kalevala or Lapponia), which allows us to pay a higher price. You can use our calculator to estimate how much we would pay for your valuables.
The likelihood of a shipment being lost is practically nonexistent. Out of tens of thousands of KultaPaketti® shipments sent by our customers, every single one has arrived safely.
All shipments sent using KultaPaketti® are insured for up to €5,000.
Yes. We always carefully examine the precious metal content of all items. If your shipment contains items that do not include gold, they can be returned to you upon request for a return fee of €10.
You can track your KultaPaketti® by entering the tracking code beginning with “VV” in Posti’s tracking service. There you can also see the time when we have received your shipment.
We evaluate your items on the same day we receive them and transfer the payment to your bank account within 24 hours.
We handle all items with great care. We primarily use X-ray analysis to determine metal content.
In rare special cases, additional testing may be required to confirm precious metal content. Such tests may leave a small mark on the item, but we always perform them in the least visible area possible.
For Kalevala, Lapponia, fashion jewelry, design jewelry, or diamond jewelry, no tests that could damage the item are carried out without the owner’s explicit consent.
For broken, incomplete, or scrap-classified precious metal items, stones are removed only to determine the precious metal weight.
Your gold items are evaluated by experienced gold experts. By logging in to your customer account via the button on our homepage, you can view the entire evaluation process documented: photos of your items and the weighing result from a scale approved by Kiwa.
You will also receive a receipt with photographs by email. If you have not provided an email address, the receipt will be sent to you by post.
We use precision scales inspected and approved by the authorities for weighing precious metals and other items. The scales are inspected by Kiwa.
Delivery of the insured KultaPaketti® to us usually takes 1–3 business days. We strive to evaluate your gold items on the same day we receive your package.
Payment is typically made on the same business day or within 24 hours of evaluation.
We use Danske Bank. If your bank account is with another bank, the transfer may take up to one banking day to appear in your account after the payment has been made.
Yes. You always have three (3) days to cancel the sale after the payment has been made to you.
